Sheila Forrester
Sheila’s first kidney transplant 28 years ago was rejected very early on.
Naturally she was nervous but grateful for a second chance. If all stories could be as good as Sheila’s, it would be a beautiful world. She had her second transplant and she has held on to that little kidney for 26 years now. Her health has never been better. That kidney allowed her to lead a perfectly normal life on which she has never looked back – to raise a daughter and have a career and do everything everyday that most of us take for granted.
