Ava Tronnes

Ava is 13 years old. She needs a kidney transplant.

When she was 5 she contracted a strep infection, which resulted in chronic kidney disease.  At that point she was at Childrens’ Hospital for 2 months and during that time was on 2 different forms of dialysis.  Later that year she was managed by medications but then in December 2019 she went back on dialysis.

 Two years ago, she was chosen by the Children’s Wish Foundation and was granted her wish to go to New York City.

 Ava is on the transplant list and is hopeful that a donor will be found soon. And if she can get back to NYC once she gets her new kidney, she will get to see all the things she missed on her last trip!
